For over 40 years, Bauman Rare Books has been bringing the world of rare book collecting to the public. We opened our first gallery in Philadelphia in 1982 and still have an office in the city at 1608 Walnut Street. In 1989 we expanded to New York City, first to the historic Waldorf Astoria Hotel, then in 1999 to 535 Madison Avenue, and as of January 2024, to our new location at 485 Madison, between 51st and 52nd Streets. In 2008 we launched our gallery in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Palazzo in Las Vegas. Today, with three locations in three great cities, we can say with pride that literally thousands of people have been introduced to rare book collecting through us over the years.
