More info on Christy Shannon
Christy Shannon has been a bookseller at the Las Vegas gallery of Bauman Rare Books since 2010. Before that, she taught college English while earning her MA in English, emphasis in Modern American Literature. Christy devotes time to domestic violence advocacy when not working with books or watching films. Her favorite authors/books include Flannery O’Connor, J.D. Salinger, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Junot Diaz, A Confederacy of Dunces, Catch-22, Housekeeping, and Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series.
