Haring (whose contribution is a selection of excerpts from Burroughs' own writings), Clifton Johnson, Frank M. Chapman, Clyde Fisher, and Caroline E. Furness, and an unsigned posthumous reprint of A `Little Journey' by Elbert Hubbard.

Each signature on a separate tipped-in leaf before the author's article. Slabsides, Burroughs' secluded cabin retreat in the hills near the Hudson River, was a mecca for friends and admirers from 1895 until his death in 1921. Illustrated with twenty photographs of Burroughs and Slabsides.
