Danish photojournalist Henrik Saxgren, whose work in Nicaragua, Africa and the Middle East has earned him numerous awards, here showcases key figures and movements in modern photojournalism: with over 100 photogravures and chapters focused on the influence of Robert Capa, W. Eugene Smith, Sebastião Salgado, Anders Petersen and Mary Ellen Mark. Text in Danish. A memorable association copy inscribed to Saxgren’s colleague, noted photojournalist Peter Turnley, who has chronicled “almost every important international news event of the last 15 years” for Newsweek and Harper’s Magazine.
A fine copy, scarce inscribed.
