A writer, Berry is best remembered today for the relationship she and her sister shared with Horace Walpole, who, in addition to establishing them at Little Strawberry Hill, indicated his willingness to marry either one of them to insure their continued company and financial security. In 1798 she edited and published an edition of Walpole's works.
