The city of Parchment, Michigan took its name from the Kalamazoo Vegetable Parchment Company, established in 1909. The area once led the world in paper production. Each of these monthly wall calendars, which advertise the company, features screenprinted artwork and maxims on one side (including such sayings as “If courage goes, all goes,” “Blessed is the man who does not bellyache,” and “Pep without purpose is piffle.”).

Light edge-wear, occasional light soiling and discoloration, mild creases to a few calendars. Ink generally still quite bright. Nostalgic Americana in near-fine condition.
