A beautiful illuminated manuscript from a medieval psalter, circa 1275, with eight illuminated initials on the recto and verso, with elaborate ascenders and descenders, handsomely window-framed.

This leaf, scribed in a gothic hand in two columns of 36 lines on the verso and recto, features five two-line illuminated initials on the recto and three on the verso, with elaborate ascenders and descenders in blue and gold that terminate in lovely green and red leaves. The lower left corner of the recto includes a similar framing illumination .

In exceptional condition, illuminations bright and unrubbed. Handsomely window framed.
