This collection prints all the statutes issued beginning with the third year of King Edward the Second's reign, down to the 13th year of the reign of King James. Printed in black-letter. STC 14130. Large engraved armorial bookplate of Washington Sewallis Shirley, 9th Earl Ferrers (1822-59).
Text generally clean; pastedown endpapers lifted. Front hinge just starting, cords holding firm, binding sound and attractive. Desirable in contemporary calf.
