Eleanor Roosevelt's This Is My Story begins with her childhood and covers the dramatic beginnings of her own and her husband's life in politics, culminating with the Democratic National Convention of 1924. Featuring over 40 photographic images of the Roosevelt family. Without original slipcase. Edens B8. This copy was inscribed to Mary Ruth Belt, who introduced Mrs. Roosevelt to the Modern Forum of Los Angeles in March 1938. Laid in are Mrs. Belt's introduction, handwritten on her stationery, her seating ticket, and the engraved invitation from the Modern Forum.
