First edition of this collection of the best poems from the first half of the 19th century, with 100 engravings by the Brothers Dalziel after illustrations by prominent artists, beautifully bound by Edmonds & Remnants.

This collections of poems includes favorites by poets such as Byron, Shelley, Keats, Coleridge, Wordsworth, Tennyson, and the Brownings. In total, over 70 famous poets are represented. The 100 in-text illustrations were produced by some of the most accomplished artists of the day to complement the text and were beautifully engraved by the Brothers Dalziel, who were known for the intricacy of their work.
