German artist Paul Wunderlich's Surrealist and often erotic work provoked constant controversy, and was on numerous occasions confiscated or banned by German authorities. Here his images accompany text selected from The Song of Songs. Printed in Paris on Rives Paper; the lithographs were produced at the Atelier Edmond et Jacques Dejobert.
