First edition of this collection of accomplished portraiture of Dutch royalty, with a folding wood-engraved frontispiece, folding wood-engraved genealogical tree, and 35 wood-engraved portraits.
A lovely series of portraits of Dutch royalty, from Diederik I through Philip II, each plate beautifully engraved with full detailed backgrounds. A fine example of Dutch engraving of the 18th-century. NUC 0619048 cites only two copies.
Plates very clean and bright, genealogical tree plate loose with slight tear on inner margin; binding worn. Very good condition.
